Account Manager

We are looking to strengthen our team with a:  

                                                                                                    Account Manager
 

The role is geographically based in our UK location. This role would suit an industry professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience dealing with major clients in the provision of POP materials. Due to the nature of the key client it is also imperative that you have a working knowledge of manufacturing techniques, processes and materials. The role is varied and often very fast paced, you would be part of a small multi-disciplined team delivering projects to the client.
 


Role specifics and responsibilities:
 
  • Providing strategic direction to permanent POP projects; 
  • Managing projects (from brief to delivery) in the UK  and throughout Europe;
  • Liaison with colleagues from other Alrec group companies;
  • Taking briefs for new projects;
  • Reporting / supporting the CSD in quarterly management information;
  • Working on, preparing and delivering key project pitches;
  • Liaison with the design and technical development depts within Alrec;
  • Understanding client requirements in terms of design and project delivery objectives;
  • Good commercial awareness and management;
  • Negotiating commercials with client to drive sales whilst maintaining margins;
  • Internal briefing documents including but not exclusively design briefs / production briefs / client contact reports / PO trackers etc.;
  • Accurate forecast reporting;
  • Chase ensure all PO’s are received prior to starting work or before delivery;
  • Other duties as recognized necessary by the CSD within the role;
  • Achieve a targeted revenue (profit and turnover);
  • Work within Alrec processes and within the strong ethos of team working;
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure account retention;
  • Activate projects that clearly fit the Alrec profile and value added services;
  • Be responsible for ensuring commercial delivery;
  • Be confident in presenting the business and its services at the client;
  • Work closely with other Alrec business units on cross business where applicabl.   

Your profile:

  • College with 5+ years of commercial work experience;
  • You are proactive, enthusiastic, thorough and tenacious;
  • You are familiar with an international A-brand environment;
